Description

Dotphoton specializes in groundbreaking data compression and camera modeling technology, aimed at elevating AI machine vision applications. Our innovations have led to a 5x increase in performance, along with up to a 10x reduction in both data center costs and CO2 emissions. Jetraw, our compression IP core, is leveraged in various sectors such as autonomous vehicles, aerospace, and cloud computing. We are seeking an FPGA and Algorithms Engineer to expand our team's capabilities in delivering new features and customizing our IP core for specific client needs.

Technology Stack:

  • FPGA: Xilinx (AMD), Vivado development environment, VHDL.
  • Software: C++ and/or Python for algorithmic reference implementation.
  • Note: Our product delivery is IP core-based; no physical shipments are required.

Description

  • Deep understanding of algorithms, and the ability to optimize them across software and hardware platforms.
  • Experience in algorithm development for hardware (FPGA), and preferably also for software (C++ on x86-64 and ARM).
  • Robust technical skills and expertise.
  • A strong grasp of quality assurance methodologies.
  • A commitment to crafting high-performance, quality, and user-friendly products.
  • Fluent English
  • A must have: Valid Swiss B or C work permit or Swiss/EU passport

Location & Work Arrangement

We're based in Zug, Switzerland. While we prefer candidates who can join us on-site multiple days a week, we are open to remote arrangements within Switzerland for candidates with substantial experience.
